Homeless in Community Litter Pick
Plaid Cymru members from Swansea and Gower joined homeless people in a community litter pick in the centre of the city.
Since the Summer, Plaid members have organised a Sunday night Soup Run, led by the party's prospective Parliamentary candidate for Gower, John Davies.
"A number of the homeless people we met during the soup run helped with the litter pick, which shows that they are not just passive recipients of charity but give something back to the community as well", said Rhiannon Barrar, secretary of Plaid's Swansea West branch.
"We are most grateful to Swansea Council for enabling the the litter pick - and to the Smoke Haus, Wind Street, who prepared chilli con carne to be distributed to homeless people afterwards".
